Deal Analyzer ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that helps users analyze business-for-sale listings on BizBuySell. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

## Data We Collect

### 1. Account Information

• Email address*: Used to create and identify your account
• Invite code*: Used for access authentication

### 2. Website Content

• BizBuySell listing data*: We read publicly available information from BizBuySell listing pages you visit, including business name, asking price, cash flow, location, and other listing details. This data is used to perform financial calculations and save deals to your pipeline.

### 3. User-Generated Data

• Saved deals*: Listings you choose to save to your pipeline
• Notes and preferences*: Any notes or settings you configure

## How We Use Your Data

• Authentication*: Your email and invite code verify your access to the Extension
• Core functionality*: Listing data is used to calculate SBA financing metrics, DSCR ratios, and ROI
• Pipeline management*: Saved deals are stored so you can track and manage opportunities
• Sync across devices*: Data is stored on our servers (Supabase) to sync your pipeline across devices

## Data Storage

• Local storage*: Some preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• Cloud storage*: Account information and saved deals are stored securely on Supabase servers
